Asus will be announcing the ZenFone 4 on August 19. The company sent out media invites for the launch event, which is to take place in Philippines. Along with the invite, there was an attached promo image which revealed the coming of dual cameras. Ahead of the launch, Asus releases a new teaser for the upcoming ZenFone 4.
The new teaser confirms some already known information. It shows a man holding a phone - ZenFone 4 with glass body in glossy black colour. He's holding the phone in a way that only the back side of the phone is seen. The image shows that the upcoming ZenFone 4 will come with dual cameras, and next to which will be a LED flash. Furthermore, below the camera setup is the Asus' brand logo.
Asus earlier launched the ZenFone 4 Max in Russia. The phone at was announced in Russia comes with dual cameras at the back, so probably it could be the same variant coming to Philippines also. Apart from the coming of dual cameras with the phone, no other details are none about the phone as of yet.
Reports are that under the ZenFone 4 series, Asus is set to launch five phones, including -- ZenFone 4 (ZE554KL), ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL), ZenFone 4 Pro (Z01GD), ZenFone 4 Selfie (Z01M), and lastly the ZenFone 4V (V520KL/A006). Almost all the phones have been subjected to several leaks, but the company hasn't confirmed any of it yet.
The Taiwanese company launched the predecessor of the ZenFone 4 series of phones -- ZenFone 3, Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe, and Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra back in the month of May at the Zenvolution event in Taipei. The company, as per several report making rounds on the web, is preparing to launch not one, but many phones under the ZenFone 4 series by the end of this year.
Asus recently launched the ZenFone AR phone in India at Rs 49,990. The smartphone is the world's second smartphone to support Google's Tango technology. The ZenFone AR is powered by a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor which has been optimised for Tango. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of internal memory which can be further expandable via a micro-SD card slot.
